Default Adding a resonator cause me to loose power?

Car: 2000 Integra LS/VTEC. Hytech Replica Header. 187whp.

Right now I am running 2.5 inch piping out a Tanabe Hyper Medallion Muffler. It feels great power wise but is a little too loud and raspy for the street.

I'm thinking of using either a 2.5" Magnaflow 14" resonator, Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator 2.5", or a regular 2.5" Vibrant Resonator.

Would any of these cause me to loose power?

Shouldn't, as a resonator is straight through.

it wouldn't matter if the resonator is straight through it will restrict air flow more than straight pipe

the not loud is worth the minimal power loss

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by solturbob16sol &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">it wouldn't matter if the resonator is straight through it will restrict air flow more than straight pipe</TD></TR></TABLE>

Incorrect. If the resonator is perforated core, it should pose no restriction. If it's louvered core, then it will cause restrictions.
