has anyone done this upgrade to their nonpowered door locks + windows? how difficult would this be?

More of a Hybrid question than a Tech question but yes. It is very possible. You will need to get all the wiring and components from a wreaked 2 door EX (including all the interior wiring)

trace everything back to the fuse box and get the plugs that they connect to at the fuse box. make sure you transfer the connector pins to the corresponding plugs on your car and you're good to go.
