An Acura that won't start?
My car is bone stock and has 227k on it (got another engine in the garage that is getting built) and the damn car wont start. I just put new plugs, wires, rotor and cap on it and it won't start (it did this before I put all this new stuff on it too). Does anybody know what this can be?
I also have another question, what will happen if I were to break the pcv valve and just plugged the lines?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind!!! I found it! I feel like a dumbass too. It was the battery. The car would turn over, but it wouldn't actually start. Everytime it did that I would pop the hood and look at the plug wires and think they were the culprit and evertime I would lean on the wires going to the battery without even thinking about it and then the car would start. I titened up the battery connections and it is better now.
Guess it is time to get an optima battery

Or maybe its time to tighten the connections on the battery you've already got. Sounds like that's not really a bad battery.

lol, i had a brain fart about "tightening" the battery. The posts were actually so small that I needed to stick some metal in the connectors so there was enough contact. The battery is really old though.
Do you know what I should do with the pcv valve? Will it run too rich with out other mods?

A PCV valve can't cost too much... right?
Usually air flows from the intake towards the engine, to make up for what gets sucked out thru the PCV valve. If you block the PCV valve then air flows back from the engine to the intake. Since there's no baffles to catch oil & drain it back (like on the PCV connection), that air carries more oil into the intake.

Actually, I broke the plastic connection that the other end of the line plugs into from the pcv valve. I don't know what to do now.

There is some plasic (might be metal) box that is on the back of the block that the line for the pcv valve goes to, not the end that goes into the intake manifold. The tube that the line slides onto is broken off.
B-series engine, I guess...
That box on the back of the block has baffles in it to let oil drip back into the crankcase. The plastic elbow on top of that box IS the PCV valve. The hose goes to the intake manifold. At least its like that on my '95 Integra.
