i just whant to know if they are legit , becuse i took my boys block apart to put in new piston rings and found nasty bearing wear ?? so i was wondering if ACL bearings are any good , becuse that what he was runing ......

 

this topic has been beat to death, but to make it short and sweet... Yes, they are a very good replacement bearing and run about $90 for the set.

 

where can i order a set ..if you dont mind giving me a site ...

 

I buy them hear locally, but I think earl sells them hear on HT, although he charges a bit more.

Call some of your local machine shops, they should be able to either get them for you or tell you where to go... Clevite also makes some pretty good bearings for Hondas/Acuras

The bearings are fine as long as clearances are set right.
Not something i would just throw in without checking.

 

o ok ... tru , i guess ill gust stick to my original set up with JE zero gap rings for my SRP pistons ..thanks
