All motor is faster than forced induction
Okay, now that i've got you in here. I have a question for you guys that have built your own motors.
I just got a set of JE pistons and when I went to file the rings, the top rings were perfect, but the 2nd rings, the iron ones, were gapped at about .018, and the max gap i needed for my application was .0060. I spoke to my supplier and he is going to try to get me another set with the quickness. But has anyone else had this issue also?
I mean i never filed one ring and they were too big, WTF?
Thanks.

Re: All motor is faster than forced induction (Plan B)
The older GSR trannys came with the bearings in the casing, called race bearings. I think thats what they are called. The newer ones came with tappered roller bearings.
You can use either the ITR or the GSR, but I prefer the tapperd roller bearing. The only bad thing about the tappered is that its hard to reuse them and take them off with out damaging them.
