Default Abs light

hi,

i was changing the rear trailing arma on an ek9 and i accidently pulled the wires out of the abs connector, i chopped the connector off and just joined the wires together but its still on, does anyone know how to get it off i have my MOT tomorrow.

Do you mean the wheel speed sensor? That sensor is sapposed to send an analog ac wave back to the abs module which i converts it to dc for the module. But anyway, joining the wires together would not give the module the signal it needs. You can do one of two things, try to repair the damaged segment of wire correctly, meaning solder the wires or buy my extra sensor.

As far as the light goes for tomarow, i would just unplug the module for now and hope they don't notice that the light should turn on and then off.

Also keep in mind the entire time that abs light is illuminated you have no abs operation, along with if you discnonnect the module.
