99 Accord V6 Starting Problem. PLEASE HELP!
Hello everyone! This is my first post in here and unfortuantely it's already problem related. I own a 99 Accord V6 that's giving me starting problems. The car has 45k on it and brand new battery and is maintained very well. There are days that it will not start, usually happens once a week in the last two months, and last Thursday was the worse ever. It took me 30 mins to finally start it. It cranks at normal speed but will not start. The car is at the Honda dealer now, but they don't seem to know much. They tried duplicating it and could not. They ran it into their computer where it showed everything was normal. So they said unless they can duplicate the problem, they can't do anything else. So I went to p/u the car the next day and it would not start when I was about to drive it home. One of their tech saw it for himself and after a couple tries he got it to start, and they kept the car. I receive a call today a few days later and they said the car is starting and because they can't duplicate it they can't do anything else...again. The tech said it probably is a leak somehwere either fuel regulator or fuel injector. But they can't take the car apart due to time and cost if it turns out not to be the injector. They are hoping to duplicate the problem so they can check the fuel pressure, etc. I have an extended warranty that is to end in December so I want this fixed by then but they won't seem to do anything unless it duplicates itself which it probably wont. Don't know what to do, any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
