96 civic hydro-cable tranny conversion
Hi I have a 1996 honda civic ex coupe, I am swapping a 99 ls motor with a ys1 b16 cable tranny (I was having a very hard time finding a hydro so I decided to go cable). I have not put them in my car yet because I need to know what I will have to do to get my speedometer to work...
I have a hydro-cable conversion kit but what about the speedometer?
Thanks

Try and find an electronic VSS from a Hydro set-up and use that in your cable tranny.
I did the opposite. Im running a Type R tranny in my CRX with the HaSport conversion and using a mechanical VSS in my tranny.
And, yes, that electronic VSS has already been sold. Sorry.
Hope that helps.
