i have a 95 teg for a project car. something must have shorted out, but when i try to use signal nothing comes on doesn't make the blinking sound when their on. I've checked fuses and all are good, I've checked wiring and everything is connected or so i think from what I've seen. any ideas on what this could be??

Check the hazard switch, power for the signal lights go through the hazard switch. 94

 

Well I pulled the hazard button out and checked the connector and everything seemed to be okay. The hazards work along with the blinkers that come on with it but even when I try just the turn signals they still don't work. I'm guessing a bad lever?

 

The lever works because obviously the lights still turn on. Maybe the Connector that goes to the lever for the signals?

 

All the wiring for the signal lights and the hazard lights are the same after the hazard switch, so if the hazards work, and the signals do not, it can only be the signal light fuse, connection to the signal light switch or the hazard switch.

Pull the hazard switch and test the yellow/black lead for power, [with the ign. switch on] if no power check fuse 26-10A in under dash fuse box, if fuse is good check for power at the fuse, if good find open circuit between fuse box and hazard switch.

If there is power on the yellow/black at the hazard switch, check for power on the green/black, [hazard switch off], if no power, replace the hazard switch.

If you have power on the green/black, check for power on the green/orange going to the signal light switch.
