95' DB8 trouble starting
Search server is down and I need some insight.
I have a completely stock 95' DB8, except for suspension, rims and tires with 167,xxx mi. Drove it home Wednesday night no problems and running strong at 11pm and go to start it thursday at 5pm and it does not fire up. It will turn over all day but doesnt start at all. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor about 4 months ago. I pulled the plugs and all of them were soaked with gas after I attempted to start it the first time so that tells me it must be ignition. jumped it and tried starting it with more power, still nothing.
This is right at the time of the tropical storm that came through NC last week and it was extremely humid and such. Dunno if that has anything to do with it since it ran fine before the weather changed.
I have heard suggestions of resetting my ECU or maybe a bad or damaged coil?what do you guys think I should try?

since you changed the cap and rotor its proably not that but check just the rotor again just in case , it could be the timing belt take off the valve cover ans see if the belt is still in tach, if the belts good its proably the a distributer problem , coil, rotor , ect
Injectors are controlled by the ECU, so that has to be good (sorta). Here's a couple more things to check...
Check whether you actually get spark from the plug wires. If not, check coil & ignitor. Maybe even the rotor has gone open-circuit.
Try new plugs. I've had a set that got fouled from flooding. They looked good after I dried them out, but they still didn't work. Engine started right up with new ones.
Check your FPR (really). A blown diaphragm in the FPR sends gasoline thru the vacuum line, flooding the intake manifold. There should NOT be gasoline in the FPR vacuum line.

Problem solved with a new coil.
After I installed it, the car still didnt want to start after the first try, second try I got it to fire but it died after a few seconds. Third time bogged again gave it some gas and let it run, turned it off after a few minutes then I took off just fine. After a 20 minute drive in stop and go traffic I noticed a less bogging when I take off from a stop.
Thanks for the support to those of you who replied.
