Default 95 civic ex

I am new to the Civic scene and I am looking for different forums that will. I am now the pround new owner of a stock 95 civic ex 5spd and I am looking to up the motor performance. If some one could point me in the right direction I would be grateful. I am just looking to squeze about 30 to 40 more HP. Say 160 to 170hp without doing a motor swap nor turbo. Any suggestions?

My suggestion would be to talk to some of the guys in the N/A forums about sohc all motor setups. If you want to do it cheaply/easily grab a tank of nitrous, there is your extra horsepower. IMO though I think you'd be best off building it N/A, going turbo or swapping.

Uhhhh.... Tell me why putting stiffer valve springs into a head would make the vtec hit harder.. The stiffer the spring the more power it takes to push it down so it probably would have the oppisite effect..

And how did you fit GSR springs into a Z6 head???

Spray a 55 shot through it.. If thats not an option then check into bolt-on's and cams.. That would net you the power jump your looking for..
