both are coupes im guessing...

the ex has better resale value.
buy the ex.
even if youre going to build it, you can part out the old motor...
or keep it and build that too.

well I was just wondering which is gonna be faster...if I buy the Hatch I'll want to do a engine swap...which causes more work...but if I get the EX its already got the engine I want in it...Im thinking about just getting the EX cause theres alot more parts already avaiable for it

im a huge fan of d16y7 turbo...
look in my signature, i agree with that 100%

but if he wants to run an ex, the mini-me is a cheap way to go...

The hatch is lighter, thus giving it more performance potential.

Really, it's not that much work.

Both sound like rip offs for stock cars from 1995

That's funny.

You are contradicting yourself when you say, I want to buy an EX because there are a lot of parts availble, and then come back with "I'm a lazy person and don't really want to work of my car." Bottom line is, tuning is addicting, and if you don't want to get hooked, don't start.

Yeah buy a Saturn!!!!

I bought my ex coupe for 1500 w/ 200k on it. How many miles are on the motor? Any rust/body damage?

4000 for a ten year old car is a bit much.

A lot of people like the hatches because they are lighter, but I personally like the look of the coupe better.

hatches are the bomb, i had one and like they said its lighter and it reacts well to swaps. they'll be classics some day. its also good to get a stock car from an old person or something because you'll know that it has never been messed with. think of your self as an artist. your canvas is your car. what every you make will represent you. thats what hondas are all about.-.. im also looking for a hatch. i got the engine but a need the hatch. any ideas where to get one.

At those prices I wouldn't buy either. Both EG hatches I've owned I ended up paying $1200 for each.

I agree, don't pay that much for stock. you can pick up an EK Body for that price.
plus i sold an EG hatch for 900.00 about 9months ago.

PS. Can't wait to pickup my nissan.

wow thats alot of money for both cars... id get tha hatch personally because i like the way it looks and its light so if u decide to swap a motor i did a bseries, ur gunna get more power out of it becuz the weight.. also ur talking about being lazy and swapping the motor, i know around here theirs shops that do ur motor swap from 4-700 and the longest it wuld take is prolly a day.. its up to u wut u want.. i say u wait, and do some research on both cars.
