My girlfriend just bought a used LS and we wanted to do some maintenance this weekend.. Brake Change, Oil change, Coolant Flush, and Tranny Fluid Change.

We got everything pretty much down but accept for Tranny Fluid.
We located the Plug drain bolt but my questions is .. How should we take off the VSS without messing it up? Step by Step? What should we worry about and look for? the Do and Dont when filling tranny fluid from there?

Post up pix to if you guys have any..thanks.. We wanted to get it done asap.. Pretty much this week we've done brake, oil, coolant.. and now were just left with Tranny fluid.. help me out please...

Well, is it manual or automatic?

I believe in either case, unplug the speed sensor and unscrew and remove.

 

aren't those vss plugs really fussy. I would try a different filler location. I know the accord clips get connectivity issues frequently, and are a pain to deal with. I don't know what others have to say as this may not be an issue with the integra's.
