93 civic starting problem
My car needs tlc lol the car started to over heat on me so i took out the thermostat is now running without a thermostat and still over heats! Maybe a new water pump and thermo would make it not over heat????? AND So i recently put a new distributor and fuel pump into the car, starter is fairly new as well, anyway for the first week or two it started fine and quick, but then it went back to its struggling ways of just wanting to start but never turned over, and when it did start it started as if it were struggling to get going and would have to give it gas to get going and also at times it would start and turn right off after a series of attempts . Idk if its a fuel line or something but i cam figure it out. Any ideas why it wont start up normally??
So your overheating and you replaced the distributor and fuel pump????
Have you done a compression test to see if the overheating has warped the head?
Have you checked the PGM-FI Main Relay, [a common problem]?
Have you pulled the water pump to inspect the blades? 94

No lol why would i replace those if my car was over heating? Lol. I already found the problem i need a new water pump!
Just reading your post, "Maybe a new water pump and thermo would make it not over heat????? AND So i recently put a new distributor and fuel pump into the car", kind of sound like you knew what you needed but installed a distributor and fuel pump instead

I shouldve broke it down better, so the fuel pump and altenator was to improve the cars starting problem but is somewhat failing. And the water pump and thermo is to improve the over heating . Make sense now? Haha
