93 civic cluster light problem...
I have a 93 civic ex and i put a 3 autometer gauges in and I tapped into the dimmer switch the red wire with the black trace for a 12v source but my problem now is all the bigger bulbs in the brown twist locks in the cluster burnt out ... I don't understand why ... I tapped into the now solid 12v not the variable voltage wire ... any help would be great thanks ... No burnt out fuses and brake lights work and all
The red/black illumination lead is a 12V "not variable voltage" dash light brightness is controlled by the ground, [red lead] from the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller" that you are most likely not using for the Auto Meter gauges.
Exactly which Auto Meter gauges do you have? 94
