92integra 93-96 prelude TCM, same?
I was told by JDM-ONLINE that I don't need the Prelude TCM when putting the H22 auto swap in a auto equipped 92 Integra. They said the Integra TCM will work. Does anyone know if this is true?

The TCM will work, but it is not going to be optimum. I hate when these people import swaps and they are so stupid they don't realize they need the TCM too. Call those fools back and tell them to stop being a bunch of lazy terds and get the TCM too.

Thanks for the input. I believe I will call them tomorrow.
I see in your reply things about reprogramming ecus. Do you do that? If so can you answer something for me?
I was told that a automatic ecu can't be chipped or reprogrammed. Is that true? I have a auto p28 to be for a ls/vtec and auto trans, and the p13 coming for the H22 auto swap. I just want to know if they can be reprogrammed in case I need or want to later.
Sorry about changing topics.

The auto P28 has the transmission solenoid controls built into the ECU, where the B and H series motors use an external TCM. The P28 is too basic to control the Prelude trans, and I am unaware of any software that will allow you to properly edit an automatic program that will run in that ECU. There is also no support for editing the P13 programs right now that I have seen.
You have answered my question, thank you.
I do just want to let you know that the p28 is for a ls/vtec w/ auto trans I will be putting in a 89 Integra that has a auto tranny in it from factory. I was told the p28 will work with a B16 head and intake but not the GSR because of the 2nd buterflies.
Will the p28 be okay with the ls/vtec w/ B16 head and intake?

The P28 can be modified with a couple of parts to control the IAB, but without a tuning solution for the automatic code, it is a moot point. Without properly modifying the fuel/timing tables for the LSV setup, it will be way too lean in the midrange, have an insufficient revlimit, and the timing will not be optimum. It is programmed to run a small 125hp SOHC engine.
