92 Prelude Overheating
Hey guys, having a little problem after putting on a new head gasket/water pump/ timing belt.
My car (92 Prelude 2.3l) APPEARS to be overheating, but the cooling fan never comes on. I replaced the thermostat, coolant temperature switch, and fan relay. When I jump the temperature switch the fan comes on, when I jump the relay terminals the fan comes on, but if I let the car idle too long the gauge indicates overheating, and the fan NEVER comes on. This is with or without the thermostat, and both top and bottom hoses are hot. I have put the switch in water and it only comes on at about 200 degrees, but the fan really should come on before that right? What am I missing?
Thanks for the help.
