Default '92 Legend Alt Replacement

Changing the belt didn't take care of the squeal and now I am convinced the alternator needs replacing. Can anyone out there direct me to a step-by-step procedure for doing this? I have the Chilton manual on order through the librarybut won't get it until sometime next week if I'm lucky.

Having already replaced the belt, I can see that there is not a lot of room to work with and am wondering what might need to be removed to get the job done and how difficult this procedure is. Does it have to be done, for example, from below? Also, is there any opinion on what a decent price for a rebuilt alternator would be?

Any handy mechanics in the Nashville area that might want to earn a few $$$$?

Thanks in advance.

Patrick

Check out the online factory manual for the Legend at :

http://www.arnach.net/service/index.php

It'll have all the info you need.
