92 integra wont start.. code 8?

92 integra wont start.. code 8?
i have a 92 integra LS
basically... car wont start.. no cranking no nothing...
its throwing a code 8 TDC sensor code.. so i replaced the dizzy
went to start it.. and the battery was dead.. so i jumped it and drove it around.. parked
battery was dead right after..
so today i buy a new battery and it still throws the code.. still wont start
the car starts fine if i have jumper cables on the battery
but i dont see why i would have to use jumper cables if its a brand new battery..
hmmm.. anyone??
