Default 92 h22a distributor

A while back I got codes 9 CYP - cylinder sensor and 15 Ignition output signal while the stalled and started later. I got code 9 a few weeks later while the car had a bad idle but it went away.

The car also seems to have lost power. I changed the CYP, Igniter, and Coil With Autozone refurbished parts but the power never returned.

I have an 94 H22a engine, would it be safe for me to just buy a distributor off ebay? There are no autoparts shop that I know of which sells this part.

its always a good idea to have an extra distributor since sometimes they just go out without question, just make sure all your grounds are good to prevent future problems. i would def get a good dist and give that a try also try replacing your wires and spark plugs, do a compression test and make sure everything else is in top working order before you blame something that isnt.

actually the car gave a little problem a few days before completely stalling. It was driving so weak that it wouldn't go past 5000rpm while driving. Then sometimes it would jerk with full power a few times then drive normal. One day while on the freeway it suddenly gave up. I tried to start it while hurrying to exit the freeway. That is when I got code 15. I think that I got 9 when it shut off. Pulled off the freeway and after checking the distributor it started up and have never been at full power since.

This sounds like an electrical problem to me.
