I have a bone stock 92 civic hb VX, basically I just got on the highway, right when I hit 60mph, the cel came on, car started to limp, I downshifted to 4 then 3 then 2, but was limping worse as I kept downshifting, then car basically dies, I rolled to the shoulder, turned the car off, turned the car back on and car started no problems and has been driving like nothing happened. The car doesnt have a cel either. I dont know what the hell is going on. Can anyone help. Thanks!

 

There are a multiverse of possibilities. If it does it again, check the code before you turn the key all the way off.

 

That's the thing, the CEL went away right when the car died...?? Can I still check the code even though the CEL isnt on?? if so, I'll be sure to check it out if it does happen again.
