Get a buddy club exhaust and just listen for that beautiful sound coming from within the engine, then you know when VTEC has crossed over. F*** the light. lol

radio shack makes tiiite lil lite that snaps in a i think 3/8 hole..its like a low pro dome and they make'm in alot of colors. i use a blue one for vtec and a red one for shift lite...the reason i use a vtec indicator is to assist me in diagnosing activation problems i mite have with my relay/rpm switch setup. the vtec one is easy, if your using regular ecu activated vtec, just ground one side of the lite and then splice the other side inline w/ the single vtec solenoid wire. if your running a rpm swtch/relay setup, just hook the one side of the lite to 12v and the other side inline with the yellow wire on the msd switch, which is the one that provides the ground for the vtec relay at the selected rpm.

I did this for my friend on his old car (92 CX w/ D16Z6 swap) Just tap a line off of A4 on ur ECU and get an LED at Radio Shack. Try to get one that runs under 500ma because going over that could draw to much, making your VTEC not kick. Have fun

AK1200......why do you care¿¿¿¿¿
Is it your car that this Vtec indicator light is going to be put in???? Didn't think so. Man people these days are to f**kin discrimintory, and retarded. I'll leave it at that, i just hate it when people make comments about other peoples cars when its the owners choice what he wants his car to have or look like.

But thanks for the help everyone else, i appriciate it

Nothing about that sounded discrimintory. He's just suggesting that instead of wasteing you time on a rice boy vtec light, you tired to do something a little more useful. However, id you did want a vtec light, these guys will be able to help www.superhonda.com

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, I HAVE A VTEC LIGHT BECAUSE 1. i was tired of runnin a lite on my windsheild during those late nighttest session when my new msd window switch was BROKEN and my new hella relay was BROKEN, trying to diagnose it, so i just INSTALLED a light;2. as MSD parts are so freakin unreliable, out of the 7 msd productsa ive had/have on my car, 5 are either done and thrown out or have been replaced within a week by msd due to being broken upon or close to initial installation date. ill admit, after initial replacement (except the freaking spark plug wires), the MSD stuff has worked glitch free. KNOCK ON WOOD.
