90 teg w/ B16 cable to hydro conversion Questions
Alrigtht my buddy has a 90 teg withe a SiR B16 in iit without LSD and he has a 99-00 SI tranny in his garage now his cable pull is going to **** and the hydro is just sitting there.
What mods are needed to make the hydro go in the teg, does he need to get new axles cause all he has is the tranny no clutch no axles etc does all that stuff swap over or does he need to get 99-00 axles etc.
The cable pull has a Stage 2 clutch in it does that swap over?
Just curious but his cable pull comes out of gear in 2nd at klow rpm what is causing that the synchros?

There may have been a kit for this, but maybe it was the other way around (cable trans into hydro vehicle). If so, that would most likely be easiest.
If not, the hydro mounts to the block without issues, and the clutch will swap over as well. I believe you use the Integra axles.
The rear mount on the transmission will (I think) be different, and I don't know whether the front torque mount will bolt up (the newer Hondas use 2 front torque mounts on the outside frame rails, one on the transmission and one bolting to the AC compressor bracket; the G2 Integra has one, which bolts to the bellhousing).
Actuating the clutch w/o a kit is up to you. Search around http://www.g2ic.com -- I have seen at least one homemade job using a cable-actuated hydraulic cylinder that looked like it worked well.
Other options:
1) Convert the car completely over to hydraulic. Again, G2IC.com has posts detailing this.
2) Use the Si hydro internals in a 92-93 YS1 case (preferably LS for its price). This is the route I took.
Good luck.
