Default 8mm throttle body increase

I'm installing a 64mm throttlebody up from 56mm on our modified D16Z6. The intake, head and header have all been ported to accomodate the increased flow.

My question is; will the stock ECU and sensors adjust air/fuel ratios to recognize/accept the larger throttlebody?

The new motor is just being installed and it will be a few weeks before we even get a chance to chip the ECU.

the ecu wont really compensate for that, you'll get better throttle responce, thats about it ; since your saying that your using a stock ecu you prolly dont have mods on the car that would make the bigger tb make a difference.
hopefully im explaining myself right

well no; we do have mods in the engine, but right now my big concern is that while we break in the engine weither or not the larger TB will cause the engine to lean out with the stock ECU

well, if so you should be worried about you other mods leaning out the car....
the bigger tb itself wont make a big difference.

what do you mean? we slightly increased compression, edlebrock TB and manifold, chikara header, fully ported head w/ .5 OS valves.

are these mods that would lean out the typical engine?

i dont know how much more compression you added, there is a lot of contributing factors on how the a/f is going to be like, but it will defenely make more power when tuned
