Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone out there has ever put an 8lb flywheel on a street/ track driven d16 sohc motor. I am in the market to pick up either a 12lb or 8lb flywheel but dont know if 8lbs would be too light for the street.

If anyone has had any experiences, negative or positive, can you please post them here or e-mail me directly. Any comments pro or con would be appreciated.

well, i use act 8.8 on my b-series and its great; not too light

 

I've given tech info about lighter flywheels before, do a search and you will find it. It was recent, too.

 

i've got an 8pounder on my d16a6 and its perfect no worries daily driven go for it you'll love it

 

how much of an improvement did you guys get in your 1/4 mile times???
