Flywheel Question
For a NA d series, this weak motor needs all the help it can get...I searched but wasn't satisfied...(d16y8 sohc vtec in a del sol)
My basic setup under the hood right now is I/H/E, fpr, ss.
Looking into upgrading clutch/flywheel at the same time. How light of a flywheel should I use? I've *heard* its bad to go too light (9lbs and under) because having some amount rotational inertia is important for some vehicles. ACT makes a 12lb Streetlite flywheel and a 8.5 lb Prolite flywheel. I'm not sure which one would be better....but this is my daily driver so keeping it streetable is important.

Re: (AzCivicCpe)
i have the streetlite flywheel and hdss clutch in my d16 and i love it. the flywheel made a noticeable difference with how fast it revs, but is still streetable. also the act is a good choice because its chromoly and not aluminum, so its not as prone to warping
