Default 88 prelude b20??

I was just wondering something. Are the b20 motors in the 88 preludes the same as CRV's?? Can you put vtec heads on them just as you would a crvtec??

the VTEC head may fit the same, but the engine will not bolt into a civic or integra. the prelude's B20's and B21's have different engine mounts. they also are designed to sit in the engine bay tilted, the head towards the rear of the car. they are also taller than other B engines and may require attention in that area. all in all, not really worth it unless maybe you already have a prelude and want to try prelude B20/vtec.
