88-91 to obd-1 conversion
I am looking for the best wire harness to use for my 88-91 CRX conversion so i can run my gsr (OBD-1). im looking for the best one to use. the one i found looks nice and it has the wxrta wire harness on it for all the stuff i have to hookup. price is 140. have any of you done this yet and what do you suggest company wise for the harness
The jumper harnesses for this type of application (OBD->OBD1) that comes with an extra pigtail-jumper is the best design out, because it makes it easier to wire in the 4-wire 02 sensor and IAB solenoid for GSR engines.
Don't forget that you'll need to change some of the plugs on your OBD engine harness to OBD1 plugs ie. distributor plugs (just color match the wires up), 4-wire 02, and injector plugs (if you plan to use OBD1 injectors + plugs). You can technically retain your OBD injectors, just remove the injector resistor box.

JK OBD conversion harnesses are hands down the best IMO. Jason (the owner) also gives excellent customer service/support.

You mean he can keep his obd0 injectors if he keeps the resistor box, right?

Correct. If you decide you want to run the OBD1/2 injectors, then you will need to remove the resistor box and close the circuit there.....solder all 5 wires together at the box or use an OBD1/2 distribution plug end.

I'm doing the same swap into my 90 CRX. I have a Redshift motorsports piggy back ECU harness jumper... same thing as JK, only like $10 more. You are going to need to wire up 12 wires and thats where im stuck...if you find out any info please let me know. THNAKS
sorry i didnt post to help you out.

Sorry man, that is not the same as my harness. Plus you spent more and are stuck here asking how to install it. My harnesses cost less and you get full tech support with easy to follow step by step instructions.

It is up to you, but if you are getting the OBD1 TB with the map on it, you might as well extend the wires for the map connector and use the one on the TB.
