I have an 85mm B20vtec setup and ran stock injectors (240cc) and my car had NO power. I now have prelude (290cc) injectors, FPR is at 50psi and now the car feels much better but it's still not running at it's full potential (I felt it's optimum power before).
My question is, is 290cc injectors good enough for this setup and just need some tuning? Or will it need bigger injectors? The max psi on stock injectors is 50psi, am I correct?

I got 310cc on my 84mm ls/vtec set up
and well psi is 32 on it with a mugen program
I would think u need bigger injectors
or for sure some tuning. bro

I'm running 11:1 CR btw. Think 310cc will be enough? Or should I just go with 345cc? The car lacks fuel big time.
you should get it tuned
first of all when you use such a large injector you should have some kind of fuel management, like VAFC or something. When tuning you should tune it using a wideband o2 and get it done by someone who knows what they are doing
then your car will be badarse
btw: tuning shouldn't cost any more than 125 an hour and one hour is all you should need to tune it if you have a FMU

i've got stock 240cc injectors on my b20/vtec setup with b20z pistons and a f*ckload of bolt ons - run 47ish psi idle, car still runs a tad lean i say, i have 390 cc dsm injectors sitting in my room, waiting to be installed, but waiting to go to a dyno so someone can pull the fuel out with my vafc

So you're gonna rock the 390cc injectors? Doesn't it feel like **** running on the 240cc? When I ran on the 240cc, it felt weaker than my D16...I'm not lying!
And dirtyd463, something tells me you can get VAFC for a good deal.
I'll let you know if anything.

it doesnt feel that bad, when me and my freind race(he has a 87 iroc-z, with a 94 lt1 swap, 3.73 gears, header, exhaust dump right after cat, Sub frame connectors, and a intake) we are side by side from about 40-110, like were dead locked, then he starts to pull on me in top end, but once i get my phk pistons in there and my new injectors, as well as a better header, i think the outcome will be different

310's should be fine for your application
if you need more fuel than that let me know cuz i wanna ride in this beast
the only way i could see you needing anything larger than 310's is if you were running ITB's. Just stick with the 310's and get ti tuned and you should be fine
