Default 8 valves or 16 valves
i just bought a 92 civic hatch with the non-vtec 8 valave engine in it....i was wondering is it possible to put the non-vtec 16 valve head on the same block...want just a lil more horses...and if so what all would i have to replace...any help would be great

likely, no.

8 valve pistons with 16v head = 8 bent valves.

not until mid/late 1993 did Honda start using the DX 16V pistons in the D15B8's
