70mm throttle body?

is there any downfalls to using 70mm as aposed 2 a 68mm or even a 65?
is bigger always better?

A larger throttle body can actually DECREASE flow if the intake manifold bore is not big enough. Flow is best when the throttle body and intake manifold bore are the same.

so a port matched 70mm is better than say a 68 that is the same?

70 mm is way over kill for stock bore mild n/a motors! I would recomend it for high power turbo motor anyday!! eric
