6th Gen EX. Idle high until stopped. Cleaned the trottle body and IACV....???
Yup, cleaned the IACV and the trottle body, both were in dire need of a good cleaning. But, my idle is 1500-1700 until I come to a stop then it drops to 1000. I have attmepted to adjust the idle lower than 1000 but to no avail.
My only thought process is that the damn IACV is bad. Yes, I made sure the o-rings were still there and in place when I re-installed the IACV.
Any opinions other than replace the IACV? Probably not but, someone want to voice there opinion on the high idle while rolling? Is that an EX thing or is it something I need to fix?

Could you please explain in *detail* how you made your idel adjustments? The reason I ask is, sometimes the little things are not performed... Thus the cleaning and tuning do not take hold...

Disconnect IACV (plug in the back of the Intake manifold closest to the firewall.
Start engine
Turn screw in trottle body until optimum idle is reached. (screw is above the bore of the trottle body just slightly off center to the left. Slotted.)
Shut off engine
Reconnect IACV
Pull back up fuse to ECU and leave disconnected for 1 minute.
Replace fuse
Start engine and LEAVE ALONE for 5 minutes of run time to allow ECU to "relearn" the way all of it's components work.

wrong...reset all codes. Warm care to idle and till radiator fan comes on. Discconnect the IAC and EVAP sensors. Adjust idle to 500 RPMS.....then shut off. Reset ECU fuse for atleast 10 REAL seconds and plug back in both plugs and start car. Good to go.
Also remember that if your TB is off a different car ie: honda to acura or vice versa that the TPS voltage will be different thus giving you differnet idle.
