Default 50/50 antifreeze

is it ok to mix water with the 50/50 coolant? this was done when i had my water pump and t-belt replaced.

i think you need to be more clear...do you have the 50/50 mix or you have the stuff that needs to be mixed 50/50...read the jug and figure it out

you can go to an auto store and buy a tester for a few bucks......little tube with floating *****....will tell you what temps you are covered for

just don't use tap water, distilled water only.

the ratio change if you live in colder area


but since you live in the most coldest tundra known to men cough..san diego..cough..50/50 is perfect

yeah i'm the type of guy that like to read and follow directions. if i knew that we need more than one gallon of antifreeze i would've bought 2 or 3 gallons. on the label it says,"do not add water." so i guess he know what he's doing and you guys say it's ok. something is whispering in my ear to tell me to flush it again. to redo it.

so i guess its ok to "not" follow the directions sometime.
