Does anyone have experience with this header?????I can't seem to find anything on it....5 Zigen has it in their ads but nothing on their web site......I'm considering this header or the Greddy.....Any input would be appreciated.......

 

i have it. without a doubt it is better than the greddy one. the collector n the 5zigen is 2.25. Greddy's is not even 2 inches. i had a DC header previous to this one. when i switched the difference was like night and day

hey i wanted to get a dc header , but all i hear is that they suck ! why do they suck ? my options are open too anything better for my $$$. what is your 5zigen going into. when you seid that you had a dc header before and the diffrence between dc and 5zigen where like night and day. what where the major +'s and major -'s

 

mid range and top end were alot better than my DC setup. DC is a good header ifall your gonna do is just i/h/e. but when u go into building your motor and stuff, thats when ya want the bigger headers.

 

How much does the 5Zigen run?

 

if i remember correctly, a little over 400 for it.

 

5zigen header better than the DC with a 2.5" collector??

Thanks for the reply and the pics.....Can you do me a favor???Check out this link for the 5 Zigen at options auto,do you know what those pieces are on the bottom of the header????Yours doesn't have it,and I was wondering.....Also,why doesn't anyone seem to have any info on this header>>>It looks like a quality set up.....

i havent seen #'s comparing the 2. i cant reall yanswer that question. ive heard great things and not so great things abou that header

that header is in all their ads. the header they show is definately not a Honda header. those are flexpipes i believe.


i just remembered how much i paid for it. it was $408 after taxes. $380 before.

 

Malice,I figured that.....That pic just didn't look right......How is clearance with the header?Do you get any scraping????My car is dropped 1.75 inches...What do you think????

clearance is great. i have no issues scraping. my car is lowered on 5zigen springs. which are at 2".

 

Is the 5zigen a 4-1 header or a 4-2-1 header? It seems close in price to the Comptech 4-2-1... which is better? 5zigen or Comptech?

4-2-1. the only thing i can really say since i havent seen any tesy compating the 2 is the size difference. i wish i took a pic of my DC laying next to the 5zigen before i put it on. the 5zigen header was very much bigger. the tubes are much wider than the dc

 

Are comptech and dc the same diameter? are comptech and 5zigen the same diameter? Is the 5zigen anti-reversion?

comptech is smaller than the 5zigen. the DC 4-2-1 and the comptech 4-2-1 are similar. not sure if its anti reversional

I have a dc 4-1 jdm style header with a custom 3inch collector and cat and i couldn't be happier. and no i don't have a 3 inch exhaust i have a 2.5 inch. I just think with the big collector and cat it flows more like a straight pipe, while still legal
