5 lug conversion

Default 5 lug conversion

i am new to honda tech and this is great. anyway i am doin a 5 lug convo on my ek9 and was wondering if i have to change the master cylinder and the proportioning valve. i heard i had to. i also heard about the axles but i did a swap already so i have integra axles. If anyone can help it would be great

i would do them both to keep the brake bias on the normal. but people havent. i look at it this way, the master cylinder and prop valve are like 250 for both new.
why wouldnt you want to do it right if you are getting into it that far? but thats the way i think.

i would still atleast do the prop. valve. the one i got for a 99-00 si was 75 bucks nr ew from honda.

definately do the prop valve and master cylander you can get them used for like 140 or so the brake fade in the rear will be bad it will be like you didn't even swap disks oon there

I'm not sure what you mean about the axles, but just to make sure you know when getting the 5 lug, JDM ITR 5 lug conversions use 36mm axles while the USDM ITR and the CTR 5 lug conversions use 32mm axles.
