Default 4th gear and 5th gear problems

b-series motor with type-r tranny:
i put the clutch in and shift 4th gear, when i let off the clutch the gear just grinds and refuses to take the gear, after a day of driving without using 4th gear it is now popping out of 5th gear when i let off the throttle, except when i'm holding the shifter in 5th.

i've been driving the car for the past 5 days without any problems from the tranny (did have to re-bleed the clutch but that should be irrelevant) this started happening all of a sudden last night.

i recently built my motor and reassembled my transmission with; stage 2 carbon kevlar competition clutch, fidanza flywheel and new release and pilot bearings. I'm confident i did not screw anything up majorly in the tranny but i'd understand if i had to pull it back apart for something i could have missed.

so far i've checked:
- the 2 spring and ball bearing bolts that go in the bottom of the bell-housing.
- tranny fluid is full

if anyone has ever heard of or had this happen please help, i'm definately confused because the synchros are 3th/4th not 4th/5th correct?

i'm lost, i'll be pulling the tranny tomorrow or the next day if noone has any ideas
