440cc injectors in a R motor??
I put 440cc injectors in my type R motor and it ran like crap!!!
a lot of black smoke was puffing out, and idled like ***.... way too much fuel!!
wut should i do, tune the car for the injectors(if possible), or should i get a set of lower rating injectors??
Thanx

get smaller injectors and tune it. unless you have a crazy all motor build or mild turbo you don't need 440cc injectors. obey you own advise and keep it simple.

if its tuned properly with good software, then it should idle like stock. i run 550's and idle like stock.

That's nice.
Look, your ECU is set to control the stock injectors. If you put larger injectors in, the ECU doesn't know this and is going to open and close them at the same rate as if the stock injectors were still there. Since the injectors are larger than the stock ones (almost twice as big), way too much fuel (twice as much) is going to go in resulting in a crappy running car, which you experienced first hand.
Your best bet is to resell them and make some money off of them. Your setup does not require larger injectors. While your at it, sell the AEM fuel rail and make some money off of that too since that is not adding any performance either. Oh, and the MSD ignition too.

buzz so after he sold the injectors and rail who would u go forth into making real power out of this motor with that money saved?

I'm not sure what your asking exactly because of your fragmented sentence, but I think you're asking what I would do with the money to make the engine more powerful?
I honestly would leave it alone and spend the money on something else or save it. If, according to his screen name, he has a B18C5 in an EG then it's a very fun car as is. He could spend the money on some engine management but probably wouldn't see enough gains to warrant the expense.
It's better to just enjoy the car and read and research what you want to do and what you need to do it instead of buying stuff, putting in on, and wondering why it doesn't work. If you are patient then not only do you have the money to do what you want, you run into alot less headaches doing it.
