Was wondering if anyone know what a dealer might charge to put a car starter in a 2002 CRV. I would like to go to my own shop but i was thinking that if the car is still under warrenty that it would void it out ????

some dealers have different warranty policies. call them.

 

Unless you have one of those expensive extended warranties that doesn't really cover anything that will go wrong, or you bought it used with some sort of limited warranty coverage, the original factory warranty is over.

Yes, call your dealer. Nobody else knows what the charge would be from your dealer. BTw, are you sure the starter is bad?

 

Does he mean auto-start o.0? or the starter itself. hmmm
