I just changed my starter and its kinda loud when starting the car. I bought the starter at Autozone and the guy said since the starter is new it will start like that for like a week or so untill it gets "settled in" then it will start normal (quiet). It kinda sounds like if the starter is going bad but it does start (it was even tested) My question is, has this happend to anyone before when changing a starter.

 

 

starters don't need to settle in...that guys talkin out his ***....

 

wow that guys crazy I've changed a few starters and never had that problem. Plus half the time that autozone-pepboys-u know stuff is junk anyway. I would take it back and at least exchange it that's if u can't get your money back.
