im currently in the process of making my EK a project. so far i have done a headlight wire and now im in the process of doing a interior wire tuck.

Looking good, what are the plans in the long run ?

 

i plan on building the motor.going turbo. getting better suspention. have it as a play around track/street car. keeping it striped so i decided to make the inside look better by tucking the wires the best i can. everything im doing is first time. so i have a lot to learn still.

i will be posting pics along the way as i run the wires and all that good stuff.

its alot of work but it keeps me going and excited. cant wait to get it all done just to see the progression ive had with my car.

 

Looking good! Thats how you do it! Just get in there and do it. Gotta start somewhere!
It will all be worth it when your finished. You can say all the labor was performed by you instead of I paid XYZ shop to do it for me.

Did your car not come with the black sound proofing material on the floor pan?

 

yea i chizzled it off lol. but made some holes in the metal so im going to eventually get it all fixed. i should of went with dry ice. it would of been cleaner and easyer

but im still learning. teaching myself as i go.

Ive found a heat gun works really well for the sound deadening removal, or your gf's hair dryer
