2 simple questions??

1. Do I have to unplug the battery before disconnect the ECU??

2. Is the start motor touching the flywheel all the time or it'll move away when the engine running??

the starter gear only touches the flywheel when starting

this is caused by hte starter solenoid activating and pushing hte starter pinion forwards and engaging hte flywheel...

when you swithc hte key from "start" to "on" hte solenoid then retracts...
