1) Im creating a wiring harness for the under dash portion of a manual to power window/lock/mirror conversion. I have the two ends that I cut off so I just have to solder in about 5 feet of wire in between. My question is, if I just get some generic 12 gauge and 14 gauge wire from say radio shack, will it suffice?

2) I had to cut most of the small zip-tie clips that hold my floor harness to the frame when I was removing it and I was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to get these? They are like zip-ties but they clip onto the frame. I checked at autozone and they didnt have them. Any ideas would be great.

18 gauge

those zip clip things.. i dunno. maybe the 'help' stuff.

 

18 gauge is way thinner than the existing wires. They are 14 and 12.
