1st gear on shifter for Import
Well I know that on imports (with steering wheels on the right side opposed to the left) well does that change the side that 1st gear would shift into? Say on a car with the steering wheel on the left, the gear is towards the wheel... (1st) well does this apply the same or still to the left?? Thanks
Everything is the same. First gear is still upper left regardless of righthand drive or lefthand drive.
I believe the only thing that is swapped are the turn signal and wiper stalks.

the shifter is the exact same as ours in US.
We can use jdm tranmisions in our cars so the pattern is the same
1st gear is away from you in a RHD car 5th is closest to you

My friend just got a 98spec RHD CTR.... Exactly what 1bad_EF said about the shifting it's the same way as ours here. So it feels different to drive a RHD car.... I also noticed that on my friend's CTR the windshield wipers are backwards from our USDM ones.. hehe i guess it makes sense.
