Default 1996 Rear disc conversion

I own a 1996 Civic EX and want to convert the rear drum brakes to disc. I have a old 1990 Integra, can I use those disc brakes for the conversion. I was told that integras will direcly bolt up to my car. Also the integra has a b18 motor, do older integras have the same motor as the new ones, would it be worth it to have the engine built and swapped into my civic?

I'm not 100% sure on the 1st gen Integ but if a 1990 is 2nd gen then it should bolt right on. Only the parking brake connection and length could be an issue for your 00 EX. I've got rear Discs from a 93 Sol Si on my 96 DX.

My page may give you some pointers on the swap process. You may want to rebuild those old calipers before you mount them and have the rotors turned or swaped out for new ones.
