Hello everyone I am a new guy on here. I just bought a 1996 accord lx 2.2 coup. The a/c is not working,The compersor and fans dont go on when I turn on the a/c. I jumped the presure switch and still nothing and I belive I am not getting power to the relay fan. My fans work they turn on when the car tells them to go on. I live in cali so I need my a/c Any help Thank you

 

You will need to check if there is any refrigerant in the vehicle. If it was anything like mine, the shaft seal leaked all winter and now I am forced to retrofit it. Let us know the last time it worked (if ever) and what the pressures are at the moment.

 

I still have freon that's not the case. I checked the termo switch and I don't have a ground on one of the wires. I checked my friends accord his a/c works I discounted the switch and put ground to it and the comp and fans worked then I did the same thing to my car and still nothing. What else can I check help me please
