I've got over 200,000 miles on my CRV and when I had fuel trouble, I automatically blamed the fuel pump. I bought a cheap pump X brand for 1/3 the price of a Honda and when installing it discovered the problem as algae plugging the fuel filter, I cleaned the filter added Sea Foam a fuel cleaner and then installed the new pump anyway, bad choice, the pump made so much noise that even when driving the car, you could hear it above all the other noises. I finally put the old pump back in and you can't even hear it, pay the extra and buy Honda parts.
