My a/c is starting to crap out on me. It blows cold early in the day when the ambient air temp is in the 70's. Later in the day is seems to be blowing fairly cool for a while, then it seems to be crapping out intermitently. I am hearing a sporadic wheazing or hissing coming from the evaporator. Also, after it has been running for a while, the compressor will start cycling on and off and back on every few seconds. Are these symptoms of a fautly expansion valve? What are the chances the entire evaporator needs to be replaced? I live in Tampa and can't afford to take my car to Honda for repairs. Any advice?
