1990 Integra ABS Nightmare!
Hello there, I am the proud owner of a 1990 Integra GS 4dr (DB1). I however have a problem, or should I say my teggy has a problem. Everytime I take off from a dead stop my ABS accumulator makes this LOUD chirping noise acompanied by a loud whine. Now its not just when I take off its almost every 5 seconds while in motion at any given speed from 5mph to 65mph! Slowing down, pressing the brake, in neutral, in gear none of that matters it does it on all occasions. It is very loud and embarrasing. I also have no ABS light on, indicating some sort of malfunction, I still havent checked the ABS control module for any codes however. Yesterday I lifted my and left it on in gear while the driver's wheel spun freely the passenger however spun slower, I know that my front pass caliper slightly drags, I will be rebuilding all my calipers shortly. I also noticed when I stopped the driver wheel the pass wheel began to spin normally, when i stopped the drivers wheel the chiping continued, it didn't matter which wheel I stopped the chirping would just not go away, could it be a bad wheel speed sensor? or maybe a bad accumulator? or perhaps a bad reservoir solenoid pack? I really want to keep my ABS feature, I also dont want to throw parts at it. Has anyone experienced this before? Anyone know the solution? Here is the pic of the noisy accumulator. Its number 11. Please someone help
