1990 da integra random shut off after driving
So when I I bought the car it ran excellent I drove it home an hour and a half away and then some when I got home. The water pump snapped the next day and during the change the timing belt got cut off and it sat for about two months before everything was fixed again. Now that I've been driving it again whenever I drive it for a half hour or so it shuts off no warning nothing just out of nowhere. I turn the key off and try and restart it. It acts like it wants to turn over but won't unless I press the gas and then sometimes it'll start. And then if I keep driving it for awhile it'll start hesitating with acceleration kind of like it's about to run out of gas then it'll shut off and won't sart back up till after sitting for a hour or so. I replaced the battery and the alternator and it is still doing it. No one has any idea what it could be. I'm desperate for help.
It could be any number of things, because it is intermittent and only after driving a bit, and the fact that it may need to sit for bit to restart, it is sounding like it is heat related.
The fuel pump, PGM-FI Main Relay, coil, ICM and even as mentioned, the ign. switch, are all susceptible to heat related failure.
If it is an instant stall, no sputter/putter or hesitation, it pretty much eliminates the fuel pump as fuel pressure would keep the engine running for a bit.
Instant stalls are generally the ICM, [seldom restart] the coil, [can work fine cold but fail only when warm] ign. switch, [work cold, fail warm but can be very random intermittent]
The PGM-FI Main Relay failure can result in an instant stall or a sputtering hesitating stall, depending on if just the fuel pump relay fails or if the fuel injector relay fails.
On older Honda/Acura PGM-FI Main Relay failure is very common, search here for all sorts of info on how to test it and DIY repairs.
Next would be the ICM and coil, unlike the PGM-FI Main Relay, [no tools or knowledge needed for initial testing] at the least you need an HEI spark tester to determine if they are the problem, although a tach needle that does not "bounce" a little when trying to start points to the ICM, a multimiter is needed to test the coil and ICM. 94

Someone told me they think it's a bad fuel filter or pump also. They said it sounds like the car is shutting off because it's not registering that it has gas and that's why when it tries to start it won't unless you press on the gas peddle which would make it register the fuel. Also the car has a bad radiator could that have anything to do with it?
Unless the engine is overheating, then no the rad will not be the problem.
A clogged fuel filter could be the problem, when was the last time it was changed, if you do not know, change it, even if it is not the problem, it needs to be replaced. 94

Also I don't know if this is related but whenever I hit the break it makes a noise sounding kinda like when you have a drink with a straw and it's all gone and you're still tryin to get liquid. And it doesn't make the sound all the time.
Related or not, your engine should not be making any sound that remotely sounds like you sucking a straw in an empty glass.
What that sound would be I have no idea, the intake is the only thing sucking air, check it for "leaks".94
