Default 150,000 on vtec?

Im going to look at buying this guys 1993 civic. He says its a vtec engine, intake, and muffler. The engine has 150, 000 miles on it. I dunno bout these honda cars but thats alot of miles to me. I would like to know what you guys think. This is the link to the ad. Thanx-

get the compression checked and if you can, then get a leak down test...that'll tell you if something major is wrong

I just traded my 93 vtec with 240k in back on Nov14 for a Volvo S70. It was dealer maintained. My 91si 4ws is in storage with 150 for winter.

See if he'll take $3500 or less. $5500 is way too much for a 93 unless is has some serious work done to it.
